ECO CAB
(Self-Drive & With-Driver Car Rental)

Please read these terms carefully before renting a vehicle from Eco Cab. By booking or renting a car, you agree to follow these conditions.

1. General Expenses

You (the customer) will pay for:

• Fuel and lubricants
• Toll taxes
• Parking fees
• Traffic fines or penalties
• Any other running expenses during the rental period

2. Responsibility for Damages

You are fully responsible for:

• Any damage to the car (accident, theft, fire, negligence, or misuse)
• Damage caused to any third person, property, or animal
• Depreciation charges (if applicable)
• Rental charges while the car is under repair due to your fault

3. Breakdown & Accidents

Eco Cab will not be responsible for any loss, delay, injury, or death caused by vehicle breakdown or accident.

4. Traffic Violations

All traffic challans, fines, and legal issues during the rental period are your responsibility.

5. Contract Termination

If you break any of these terms, Eco Cab has the right to:

• Cancel the rental immediately
• Take back the vehicle from anywhere
• Recover any pending dues or damages

Eco Cab will not be responsible for any inconvenience caused due to repossession.

6. Prohibited Use

You cannot use the vehicle for:

• Any illegal or unlawful activity
• Political activities
• Racing, off-roading, or reckless driving
• Sub-leasing or commercial use (without written permission)

7. Extension of Rental

If you want to extend the rental period, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the due return time. Extra charges will apply.

Self-Drive Rental Policy

8. Minimum Rental Duration Minimum 5 days for self-drive cars.
9. Payment Terms
   • 100% payment is required before the car is handed over.
   • You can book by paying 20% advance. Remaining 80% must be paid before delivery.
10. Security Cheque A valid security cheque is mandatory. It will be returned after the vehicle is safely returned and all dues are cleared.
11. Residential Requirement
    • You must own a house, OR
    • If living in a rented house, you must provide a rental agreement + a guarantor who owns a permanent residence.
12. Guarantor A guarantor may be required. The guarantor will be responsible if you fail to pay any dues or damages.
13. Foreign Nationals Original passport must be submitted for verification. It will be returned after safe return of the vehicle.
14. Vehicle Condition You must check and agree that the vehicle is in good condition at the time of handover. Any existing damage must be noted before taking the car.

With-Driver (Chauffeur) Rental Policy

• Driver Meals: You will provide meals to the driver during the rental period.
• Driver Duty Hours: Maximum 10 hours per day (extra hours will be charged).
• Driver Charges: Paid as agreed at the time of booking.
• Out-of-City: Extra charges will apply as per company rates.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

• Booking can be confirmed with 20% advance payment.
• Advance payment is non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up.
• Remaining balance must be paid before vehicle delivery.
